Rural Health Workforce Funding Programs

Date:
Duration: approximately 60 minutes

The United States continues to see a dire shortage of healthcare providers, especially in rural America. This webinar will provide an overview of funding programs designed to grow and sustain a new crop of rural health workers.

RHIhub Funding Specialist, Becca Cruger, will cover a range of grant programs, particularly those sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and other parts of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as key foundations. Financial aid and loan repayment programs available to those entering the rural health workforce will also be covered. Participants will learn how they can use the Rural Health Information Hub to find additional funding options and data to support grant proposals.

This webinar is targeted to workforce boards and anyone seeking an introduction to relevant HRSA funding sources.
