The Rural Health Information Hub and the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis will present the Rural Philanthropy Toolkit, which is designed to help rural communities to build relationships with philanthropies. Developed by NORC on behalf of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP), the toolkit compiles emerging practices and resources to support rural communities seeking to build relationships with philanthropies. This toolkit presents practical strategies that can help rural communities prepare for partnerships with philanthropies; conduct outreach to philanthropies; and establish and sustain partnerships with philanthropies.
In addition to an overview of the toolkit we will feature two speakers that will describe lessons learned related to establishing and sustaining partnerships with philanthropies. The Rural Philanthropy Toolkit is currently available on the RHIhub website.
