Summary
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBS) invites applications for loans and grants under the Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Programs (REDLG or Programs) for fiscal year 2026, subject to the availability of funding. The purpose of these programs is to provide eligible Rural Utilities Service (RUS) electric or telecommunications borrowers with financing to promote rural economic development and job creation projects. Applications will be reviewed quarterly, with the following deadlines: September 30, 2025; December 31, 2025; March 31, 2026; and June 30, 2026.
