Praxis Center Rural Health Simulation Center: Request for Feedback

Praxis Center is announcing an opportunity to submit feedback regarding the real-world needs of rural healthcare organizations as part of a national assessment of current training priorities, challenges, and workforce needs.

As the nation's only freestanding rural facility focused on simulation-based health professional development, Praxis will expand access to specialized post-licensure simulation training for rural surgeons, physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians. This training is an opportunity not widely available in rural communities and complements the simulation programs of colleges, universities, and large health systems. Training will be based out of Butte, Montana.

The Praxis Center is being developed with rural healthcare leaders, hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Indian Health organizations, emergency medical services agencies, and other partners committed to strengthening healthcare in rural communities. Praxis Center's mission is to improve workforce development, patient safety, clinical competency, and healthcare outcomes for rural communities across the U.S. and Canada.

Feedback may be submitted by healthcare leaders, educators, clinicians, and care providers from North America using the Praxis survey.
