Editorial & AI Policy
RHIhub staff develop content for the site in collaboration with subject matter experts. Our Topic and State Guides, Rural Monitor articles, Models & Innovations, and other products are informed by published resources that meet our selection guidelines, as well as interviews with people in the field.
We use AI tools to help with copyediting and other quality assurance tasks, identify potential resources to consider as sources, and support web development. All AI suggestions are reviewed by RHIhub staff, and all decisions about the content included on the site are made by us.
Website Selection Guidelines
The Rural Health Information Hub assists those seeking to improve and maintain rural population health and the access, quality, and financial viability of rural health delivery systems. To do this, RHIhub maintains a variety of web pages, including Topic Guides on many rural health topics. We provide links to information produced by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and other federal and state government organizations. We also link to other websites and full-text documents. The selection guidelines we use in evaluating links are listed below.
