Notice from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) seeking comments on a new matching program between CMS and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) that would identify beneficiaries enrolled in both Medicare and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) healthcare. The matching program will be used to identify and recover duplicate payments; improve payment accuracy; and identify potential fraud, waste, and abuse. Comments are due by November 20, 2026.
