Share Your Input: Region 8 Training & Technical Assistance Needs Assessment
Oct 29, 2026
The Mountain Plains Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Center (MP ROTAC) is seeking feedback on the training, technical assistance, and support needs related to opioid, stimulant, and other substance use challenges impacting communities throughout the Mountain Plains region. MP ROTAC, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, works to strengthen prevention, treatment, recovery, and behavioral health efforts across rural and tribal communities in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
The brief 10-minute assessment is for anyone who works in healthcare, behavioral health, prevention, treatment, recovery, public health, education, social services, public safety, or has personal or family experience with substance use. The assessment will help MP ROTAC better understand regional strengths, identify emerging needs, and guide future training and technical assistance efforts.
The survey is available until November 15, 2026, and may be shared with colleagues, partners, and community members with insights to contribute. Questions should be directed to Genevieve Berry, Project Coordinator, at gberry@wiche.edu.
