Presents data on HIV infection diagnoses in 2017 and the
prevalence of adults and adolescents living with diagnosed
HIV infection at year-end 2016 residing in metropolitan and
nonmetropolitan areas in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Nonmetropolitan data is included at the end of each table,
after all the Metropolitan Statistical Areas are listed.
Nonmetro data is available on HIV infection diagnoses in
adults and adolescents by sex, sex and age, sex and
race/ethnicity, sex and transmission category, and
race/ethnicity and transmission category. Also includes
mortality data by sex for nonmetropolitan areas.
