COVID‐19 Death Rates Are Higher in Rural Counties With Larger Shares of Blacks and Hispanics

Highlights a study on the COVID-19 mortality rate of rural U.S. counties based on their racial/ethnic composition. Compares mortality rates of all nonmetro counties from March 2-July 26, 2020 and looks at the number of Black and Hispanic populations in those counties.
