Practice Patterns, Work Environments, and Job Outcomes of Rural and Urban Primary Care Nurse Practitioners

Examines the context and infrastructure environments in which rural and urban primary care nurse practitioners (NPs) work. Examines survey data from 1,244 primary care NP respondents to understand time spent in respective occupational roles, such as practicing leadership and providing patient care; work environment and structural capability; burnout, job satisfaction, likelihood of leaving, and perceived quality of care; and more. Includes rural versus urban NP comparisons as well as demographic breakdowns.
