Sociodemographic Factors and Outcomes by Intent of Firearm Injury

Description
Analyzed emergency department visits between 2009 and 2016 for patients aged 21 and younger with a firearm injury. Injuries are categorized by intent as either unintentional, assault, or self-harm. Each injury type is further broken down by age, gender, insurance status, rurality of the hospital, patient outcomes, and more. Discusses association of rurality with the different injury types.
