Considering Culture: Building the Best Evidence-Based Practices for Children of Color

Description
A case study examining how culture impacts the effectiveness of evidence-based practices in communities of color, suggestions for how that efficacy may be improved, and options beyond the traditional programs that are proving to be valuable for the children in those communities. A specific discussion (pages 6-7) of the Strong African American Families (SAAF) program in Georgia gives a rural perspective to the issue.
