Promotes the community's voice within the healthcare system through development of the role of community health workers including promotores de salud and community health advisors. Provides a forum to share resources and strategies.
Community Health Worker Institute
Provides community health worker (CHW) training and curriculum development; job services; technical assistance for CHW integration, evaluation and payment model design in health systems; and return on investment studies in South Carolina and North Carolina.
An organization that builds on community strengths to improve health in farmworker and border communities. Their programs provide peer health education, increase access to health resources and bring community members together with health providers, employers and policymakers to create positive changes.
National Center for Farmworker Health
Dedicated to improving the health status of farmworker families by providing information services, training and technical assistance, and a variety of products to community and migrant health centers, as well as other organizations and individuals involved in farmworker health.
