Opioid Workforce Expansion Program - Professionals Inactive
Grants to train behavioral health professionals to address the behavioral health needs, including opioid use and substance use, in high-need underserved and rural populations. A special emphasis is on demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the specific concerns of children, adolescents, and transitional-age youth in high need and high demand areas who are at risk for behavioral health disorders.

Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention (NEPQR) – Veteran Nurses in Primary Care (VNPC) Training Program Inactive
Grants to recruit and train military veteran nursing students to practice at the full scope of their license in community-based primary care teams. In addition, the VNPC Training Program will provide professional development opportunities and educational support for practicing Registered Nurses/preceptors aimed at developing primary care expertise and skill sets to provide high-quality care that addresses the unique needs of veterans.

Grants to strengthen primary care and the workforce by establishing fellowship programs to train community-based practicing primary care physician and/or physician assistant champions to lead healthcare transformation and enhance teaching in community-based settings.
