Indiana Community Improvement/Development Grants can be used for capital projects such as investments in facilities, equipment, or real estate (non-operation funding).

Projects must focus on one of the following:

  • Arts and Culture
  • Education
  • Health and Welfare

Applicants must be located in Indiana. Applications will be accepted from:

  • Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations
  • Educational institutions
  • Governmental or quasi-governmental organizations

Amount of funding

Award ceiling: $10,000
Award floor: $1,000

Application process

Applications for grants will be accepted from January 1 through March 31 to be considered for a grant to be dispersed by June 15. Applications will be accepted from July 1 through September 30 to be considered for a grant to be dispersed by December 15.
