Marva Jean Jackson Rural Community Health Scholarship Grants
The Marva Jean Jackson Rural Community Health Scholarship Grants award funding to help pay for the training and education of local healthcare providers for rural facilities or community groups.
Examples of eligible funding uses include:
- A long term care facility could pay for an LPN to acquire an RN license
- A hospital could help pay for a Medical Assistant training to become a Lab Technician
- A small community could support a local student in becoming a Physician Assistant
The applicant must be in a rural area and be a current organizational member of the Colorado Rural Health Center.
Funding will be matched on a 2-to-1 basis for up to $1,000 per year.
