Michigan Community Health Matching Program
The Community Health Matching program offers grants to nonprofit community organizations that develop, implement and evaluate new approaches to health care issues.
Proposals are reviewed on the criteria:
- Project sustainability
- Potential for replication
- Significance and risk-level of the target population
- Level of impact on Michigan health and healthcare
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations based in Michigan are eligible. Applicants are encouraged to partner with healthcare organizations, universities, research, or government agencies to develop projects.
Up to $25,000 for a 2-year project period.
Matching funds are required based on the size of the applicant's budget and the percentage of Medicaid and uninsured patients it serves. For complete details, see the program guidance.
