California Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program

The Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program awards scholarships to California residents who are enrolled in allied healthcare programs.
Recipients must agree to provide direct patient care on a full time basis in a designated shortage area in California for a minimum of one year.
Applicants must be free from any other service obligation and enrolled in an eligible allied healthcare program. A complete list of eligible behavioral and non-behavioral allied healthcare programs is available in the application instructions.
Past and current scholarship awardees are may apply if otherwise eligible, with an additional year of service required for each award received.
The maximum award amount is $15,000 for non-behavioral health professions and $25,000 for behavioral health professions, in return for one year of service.
Certified Nursing Assistants are also eligible to receive up to $25,000.
