Purpose

The Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship Program will provide scholarships for California students pursuing an associate degree in nursing in exchange for working in a Medically Underserved Area of California upon graduation.

Recipients must agree to provide direct patient care on a full-time basis in a designated shortage area in California for a minimum of 1 year.

Eligibility

California residents who are currently enrolled in an associate degree nursing program in California and are free from any other service obligation may apply.

Up to $8,000 in return for 1 year of service.
