Online contact form
The North Carolina Rural Center offers loans to small businesses in the state. Small businesses could include rural healthcare providers.
Lending products include:
- Microenterprise loans - Loan funds, business planning, and technical assistance for the start-up and expansion of small businesses
- Disaster Recovery Loans - Low-interest loans to businesses affected by disasters
- Capital Access Program - The small business borrower and the lender contribute 2% - 7% of the loan amount, and the Rural Center matches the amount. These funds grow to create a reserve account at each participating lender to be used to offset losses on enrolled loans, thus helping offset the lender’s risk.
- Loan Participation Program - The Rural Center purchases 15% of loans made by lenders to reduce the risk of small business loans.
