Delaware State Loan Repayment Program
The Delaware State Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment assistance for healthcare professionals who agree to practice in an approved area of Delaware.
Applicants must agree to practice for a minimum of 2 years, and are eligible for up to 4 years of funding.
The following healthcare professions are eligible to apply:
Advanced disciplines:
- Allopathic medicine
- Osteopathic medicine
- General and pediatric dentistry
Mid-level disciplines:
- Certified nurse-midwife
- Heath services psychologist
- Licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselors
- Licensed clinical social worker
- Licensed professional counselor
- Marriage and family therapist
- Nurse practitioner
- Pharmacist
- Physician's assistant
- Psychiatric nurse specialist
- Registered dental hygienist
- Registered nurse
Awards are based on practitioner level and a quantitative evaluation of the application. See the table on the program website.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed twice per year. Links to the application and required forms are available on the application package page.
