Appalachian Health Career Scholarships offers scholarships to Appalachian students pursuing careers in healthcare or a health-related field. Scholarships are designed to combat the growing healthcare professional shortage in the Appalachian region.


Applicants must be located in the Appalachian region, can be full- or part-time students, and must be accepted into an accredited college or university.

The scholarship is for one year and cannot be renewed.

Geographic coverage
Amount of funding

Up to $2,500 per semester for one academic year. Part‐time students are eligible to apply for partial scholarships.
