Minnesota Rural Health Awards
The 2022 conference has been cancelled due to COVID-19 health concerns; however, applications are being accepted for the 2022 Rural Health Awards. See the application process section below.
Minnesota Rural Health Awards honor individuals and teams for outstanding contributions to rural health in Minnesota.
Nominees may have contributed to rural health in any capacity: through a volunteer or paid position, as a healthcare provider or non-provider, in policy or through practice. The Lifetime Achievement Award is intended to recognize individuals who, over the span of their career, have made significant, lasting contributions to improving rural health in Minnesota.
Areas of impact could include but are not limited to:
- Rural health policy
- Legislation
- Education
- Patient care
- Healthcare systems
Awards will are typically announced on National Rural Health Day, which is November 17, 2022.
Any individual or team is eligible if they have contributed to rural health in the state.
Winners will receive a plaque and recognition.
