ACF Strengthening Organizations Grant program provides operational support to nonprofit organizations in Alaska.

Grant awards will support:

  • Board training and board related consultants
  • Staff/volunteer training and leadership development
  • Financial management such as accounting software or consultation
  • Strategic or business planning, including program evaluation, communications or business plans, and policy creation
  • Community building activities such as community needs assessments and events and conferences to build professional networks
  • Technology infrastructure for non-capital costs only, such as donor tracking systems and website upgrades
  • Executive director recruitment or coaching
  • Fundraising plans, including the creation and implementation of a fundraising or donor development plan

Applications will be accepted from entities in Alaska that are:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • Tribes
  • Churches
  • Local government agencies and programs

Award ceiling: $10,000
Typical award amount: $4,000 - $6,000
