The Emergency Response Equipment Grant Program awards
funding for the purchase of emergency response equipment
for rural volunteer fire, rescue, and ambulance departments.
Funding may not be used for vehicle or building
Eligible applicants are rural volunteer fire, rescue, and
ambulance departments located within the Compeer
Financial Local Service Area (144 counties in
Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin).
Specific counties in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin
Amount of funding
Up to $4,000.
All awarded funds must be used by the end of the current
