Purpose

The 3RNET Recruiting for Retention Academy is a six-part webinar series designed for healthcare human resources professionals and recruitment leaders in rural and underserved communities. It includes:

  • Access to webinars featuring national experts on rural recruiting and retention
  • Portal to gain access to the webinar recordings and materials
  • Ability to ask questions of other Academy attendees and 3RNET members via the Academy listserv
  • A certificate of completion for those who attend and complete the series

Sessions include:

  1. Reintroducing the recruiting for retention hierarchy in today's market
  2. Marketing rural practice in a hybrid and telehealth era
  3. Compensation transparency, loan repayment, and total rewards messaging
  4. Scope of practice, team-based care, and burnout-proof messaging
  5. Digital recruitment ecosystem: From social media to passive candidate outreach
  6. Integration lab: Building a 12-month strategic recruitment marketing plan

2026 program agenda

Eligibility

The Academy is designed for safety net facility employees (Federally Qualified Health Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, and others) such as:

  • Recruiters
  • Human resources
  • Medical directors
  • Chief financial officers
  • Chief executive officers

The program is open to anyone with an interest in rural recruitment and retention.

The registration cost is $500.

Complete the online registration form.

There is no registration deadline. The webinar series begins on October 6, 2026; however, participants can register at any time as the sessions are recorded and available to view on the 3RNET Academy website.
