Purpose

The American Hospital Association (AHA) NOVA Awards recognize innovative collaborations in which hospitals are engaged to bring better health to the populations they serve.

Awards will be given to AHA member hospitals and healthcare systems that:

  • Work collaboratively through joint efforts among healthcare systems or hospitals, or among hospitals and other community leaders and organizations
  • Work to improve community health status through healthcare, economic, and/or social initiatives

Awards will be presented at the AHA Leadership Summit that will take place July 25-27, 2018 in San Diego, CA.

Eligibility

All hospital/health system partners in collaborative efforts must be involved in submitting the nomination, and at least one partner must be an AHA hospital or healthcare system member.

Awards are honorary. Up to 5 awards will be presented.
