Virginia EMS Scholarship

This program provides scholarships to support qualified applicants seeking to earn an initial or advanced EMS credential within Virginia. Each scholarship recipient must agree to affiliate with a Virginia agency as either an employee or volunteer after the completion of the certification program.
Applicants must be Virginia residents that are enrolled in an initial certification or advanced certification program that is approved by Virginia Office of EMS.

Applicants have 30 days from the official start date of the program in which they are enrolled to apply for a scholarship. Courses of less than 30 days in length have a 10-day application window.
