Purpose

The Minnesota Allied Health Care Faculty Loan Forgiveness Program offers loan repayment assistance for individuals studying to teach in allied healthcare or advanced nursing in Minnesota. The purpose of the program is to recruit and retain healthcare educators, which will ultimately help communities and facilities that are experiencing a shortage of access to primary healthcare services.

Eligibility

Individuals studying to teach in allied healthcare or advanced nursing in Minnesota are eligible to apply.

Preference is given to applicants closest to completing their training and those who can demonstrate diverse cultural competencies.

Amount of funding

Up to $11,000 per year with a maximum of $44,000.
