Migrant Health Awards
The Migrant Health Awards recognize migrant health centers, migrant health center board members and staff, and public officials whose accomplishments demonstrate excellence in migrant healthcare.
Awards will be given in the categories:
Migrant Health Center Award:
A migrant health center that has demonstrated a high level of commitment and innovation in service to migrant farm workers and their families
Migrant Health Outstanding Public Service
An individual who has made significant contributions to the migrant healthcare field either as a public official or as a migrant health center leader who has been highly effective in the public policy arena
Migrant Health Outstanding Board Member
An individual who has demonstrated an outstanding level of service and commitment as a board member of a migrant health center
Lifetime Achievement in Migrant Health
An individual that has served in the migrant health field for 15 years or more and who has demonstrated commitment and excellence in migrant health
Awards will be presented during the Conference for Agricultural Worker Health, May 6–8, 2019, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Migrant health centers, migrant health center board members and/or staff, and public officials may be nominated.
The Board Member and Public Service Awards do not require Association membership.
The awards are honorary.
