Purpose

The National Association of Rural Health Clinics offers this course designed to teach directors, clinic administrators, and other Rural Health Clinic leaders how to operate a successful Rural Health Clinic. Upon course completion and the attainment of an 80% or higher exam score, participants will earn Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional certification.

The course includes approximately 12 hours of online video content with an online final exam.

  • Administration and Finance
  • Billing and Coding
  • Regulatory Compliance and Quality
  • Federal and state regulations
  • Human resources
Eligibility

Eligible participants are directors, clinic administrators, and other Rural Health Clinic leaders.

The cost for the course is $500 for NARHC members and $650 for non-members.

Course access begins October 5, 2026 and the mandatory final exam is December 14-20, 2026.
