The OHA Excellence in Quality Awards recognize exceptional efforts to improve quality and patient care in Oklahoma hospitals.
The goals of the award program are:
- Recognize outcomes in quality performance practices, capabilities and results
- Share best practices, challenges and successes among Oklahoma hospitals
- Stimulate innovation, knowledge and learning in achieving quality and safety in healthcare among member hospitals
Awards will be given to one hospital in each category based upon licensed beds:
- Critical Access Hospitals
- 26-100 beds
- 101-300 beds
- 300 beds
Award recipients will be honored during the OHA Annual Convention that will take place November 29 to December 1, 2023 in Oklahoma City.
All OHA member hospitals are eligible to apply for initiatives implemented between 2020 to present.
One award will be made in each category. Awardees will receive:
- A poster display at the OHA Annual Convention
- An award plaque
- Professional photo of hospital staff/leadership with OHA president
- Public recognition via media release with support from OHA
