National Indian Health Board Public Health Innovation Awards

The National Indian Health Board offers awards to recognize excellence, achievement, and innovation for individuals, Tribes, organizations, and programs that have enriched and improved American Indian and Alaska Native public health. Awards will highlight work that has improved health status, implemented new programming, addressed long standing health disparities, and/or increased the visibility of Tribal public health concerns.
Awards will presented at the National Tribal Public Health Summit, which will take place in Omaha, NE on March 17-19, 2020.
Contributions must be in the field of public health and should have helped to advance the state of Tribal public health policy, programming, or improved the nature of public health services for American Indians and Alaska Natives at the Tribal, Area/regional, or national level.
Awards are honorary.
Submit the online nomination form by December 6, 2019. Awardees will be notified by January 17, 2020.
