Purpose

The Water Environment Federation is offering automatic samplers, training, and troubleshooting for small wastewater utilities to do wastewater surveillance. In addition to disease surveillance, samplers will enable improved understanding of organic, solids, and nutrient loadings to wastewater treatment facilities. The primary project goal is to increase participation in wastewater surveillance by small, rural, and tribal communities.

Eligible applicants are small, rural, and tribal wastewater utilities.

Automatic samplers, training, and troubleshooting will be provided at no cost.

The period of performance will run from March 7 through August 31, 2023.
