Purpose

United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. (USET) Tribal Epidemiology Center provides technical assistance and training for tribes with the goal of elevating the health status of tribal citizens. A variety of technical assistance is available. The nature of the technical assistance provided will depend upon the request, available resources, and staff capacity.

Program areas include:

  • Community health assessment
  • Quantitative data analysis
  • Qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Survey and other data collection instrument development
  • Disease outbreak consultation
  • Immunization registry
  • Recommendations for tribal public health concerns

Trainings and workshops can be provided upon request. Topics include Government Performance Reporting Act training, data sovereignty, mental health, and more. Trainings may be virtual or in person and are tailored to various audiences, application types, and skill levels.

Eligibility

Tribes and tribal organizations belonging to United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. (USET) are eligible to request assistance.
