Changing Aging Grants
The NextFifty Initiative provides grants for root cause, systems-level, and programmatic innovations to change aging.
Projects should support older adults through their work in one or more priority areas:
- Ending ageism
- Advancing digital equity
- Supporting aging in place
- Making aging more affordable
Applications will be evaluated on:
- Connection to older adults
- Alignment with priority areas
- Improving economic well-being for older adults
- Innovation
- Partnerships
- Need for funds
Eligible applicants include governmental entities; institutions of higher education; nonprofit entities organized under sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) of the IRS code; and nonprofit entities with an eligible fiscal sponsor.
Projects must intentionally focus on the aging or the aging-disabled population age 50 and over and/or the caregivers of these populations.
Grant requests are not limited.
The project period is 1-3 years.
