Purpose

The Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council will provide funding to implement opioid abatement remediation strategies in Tennessee including primary prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery support, education/training, research, and evaluation.

A detailed list of potential activities is provided in Attachment A of the application instructions.

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements:

  • Have a physical presence in Tennessee at the time of the application
  • Registered with the Tennessee Secretary of State or an established governmental agency within the state
  • Licensed or certified to provide the proposed services

Rural and underserved communities are a program priority.
