Purpose

The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) offers a 6 month educational program for health center CEOs to learn with and from peers and sharpen health center-specific leadership skills.

The program begins with a workshop on October 22-23, 2023, ahead of the FOM/IT Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, NV. The program continues with monthly webinars and group meetings and ends with a closing workshop in Atlanta, GA on April 19, 2024.

The CEO Institute will:

  • Examine the fiduciary role of the CEO and gain an understanding of key health center financial measures
  • Identify and utilize key strategies to ensure a productive CEO/board working relationship
  • Explore strategic, data-driven decision-making strategies

CEO Institute curriculum

Eligibility

The CEO Institute is designed for people serving in the role of CEO or at a health center for less than 3 years. All health center CEOs (or equivalents) are encouraged to apply.

Amount of funding

Registration by September 20, 2023: $1,400

Registration after September 20, 2023: $1,600

Fees cover registration for the 2 in-person meetings, breakfast and lunch at the in-person meetings, and registration for all virtual sessions.

Applications will be accepted until the course is full or until October 16, 2023. A waiting list will be started once the course has reached capacity, and wait listed applicants will be given priority to fill a cancellation spot.
