Purpose

The Colorado Trust offers several grant opportunities for organizations working in the areas of food, housing, and mental and behavioral health, with the overall goal of the building resilience in Colorado communities that have experienced different kinds of disruptions and hardship. Rural communities are a funding priority.

There are currently 7 different Community Resilience Initiative available:

  1. Sustaining Housing Solutions
  2. Diverse Approaches to Behavioral Health
  3. Expanding Access to Behavioral Health
  4. Accessing Healthy Foods
  5. Building Food Systems
  6. Capacity Building Assistance
  7. Policy and Advocacy
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are Colorado-based and Colorado-serving community or grassroots entities, including:

  • Nonprofits
  • Healthcare organizations
  • Educational institutions
  • Government agencies
  • American Indian tribes and their designated operating divisions
  • Native American-serving organizations or organizations providing services on a reservation or tribal land
  • Entities fiscally sponsored by an eligible organization
