Purpose

The Medicine for Pathways for Advancing Tribal Healthcare (PATH) program offers mentorship and professional development opportunities for 8 Native college or university students on path to become physicians. The program includes a 3 week experiential summer program based in Boston, Massachusetts and a 1 year virtual experience of group meetings, individual meetings, and discussion topics.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be formally enrolled in a tribal nation, currently enrolled in a college or university, and interested in becoming a physician.

The program covers costs for student travel, transportation, lodging, and food during the Boston 3-week summer medicine enrichment portion of the program.
