Purpose

The Elder Justice College Ambassadors program creates leaders and champions for elder justice and builds a network of advocates who will work to prevent elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Attend virtual meetings and trainings held approximately once per month
  • Spread awareness throughout campus
  • Partner with on-campus clubs/organizations and collaborate with other students, faculty and staff
  • Commit to serving a minimum 9-month period as ambassador
  • Develop, plan, and carry out final project surrounding World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

The program term is from November 2025 through July 2026.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are undergraduate students 18 or older that are enrolled in an accredited university, trade school, or community college.
