National Hispanic Health Foundation's Health Careers Program
The National Hispanic Health Foundation's Health Careers Program helps college and university students explore healthcare career pathways early and take practical steps toward their goals. In a 3 month program, participants connect with experienced advisors, faculty, and healthcare professionals to gain real-world guidance on:
- Choosing and comparing career paths in medicine, public health, and healthcare
- Navigating admissions and application timelines
- Identifying financial aid, scholarships, and other funding options
- Preparing for entrance exams and key milestones
- Building a clear, actionable plan for next steps
Eligible student participants are health profession undergraduate college and university students interested in learning more about health careers in medicine, public health, nursing, dental, and pharmacy.
Eligible mentors are professionals in healthcare and public health fields or current students in medical, public health, dental, nursing, or pharmacy programs.
This is a free opportunity.
Applications for students and mentors are available on the program website. Applications are due July 10, 2026.
