Funding to support a single Alaska Native Tribal Resource Center on Domestic Violence that will focus on the intervention and prevention of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence by offering culturally sensitive statewide information, training, and technical assistance designed to reduce tribal disparities within Alaska Native communities and villages.

Field-Initiated Approach to Addressing Racial Bias and Inequity in Child Welfare Inactive
Grants for the development, implementation, and evaluation of field-initiated approaches to addressing racial bias and inequity in child welfare; and improving the safety, stability, and well-being of families in traditionally underserved communities. The goals of the Tribal Home Visiting program are to support healthy, happy, successful American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) children and families through a coordinated, high-quality, evidence-based home visiting strategy, and to continue to build the evidence base for home visiting in tribal communities.

Community Economic Development Projects Inactive
Grants to Community Development Corporations (CDCs) for projects designed to address the economic needs of low-income individuals and families through the creation of employment and business opportunities, including expansion or construction of clinics and health centers. Priority points will be given to projects that create jobs in rural communities and counties of persistent poverty.

Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence Inactive
Funding to a single entity to establish and maintain a Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NHRCDV). The NHRCDV will provide technical assistance and training resources for Native Hawaiian-serving organizations to enhance their capacity to respond to domestic violence, including Native Hawaiian communities and programs in areas that are geographically isolated where community-level involvement is necessary.

Community Economic Development Focus on Energy Communities Inactive
Grants for projects aimed at business development opportunities and creating employment for low-income individuals located in energy communities that have experienced employment loss and/or economic dislocation because of declines in the fossil fuel industry and/or are disproportionately reliant on fossil fuel energy production or distribution. Bonus points are given to projects that create jobs in rural and tribal communities.

Regional Partnership Grants to Increase the Well-Being of, and to Improve the Permanency Outcomes for, Children and Families Affected By Opioids and Other Substance Abuse Inactive
Funding for collaborative regional partnerships that provide activities and services designed to increase the well-being of, improve permanency outcomes for, and enhance the safety of children who are in, or at risk of, an out-of-home placement as a result of a parent's or caregiver's opioid or other substance abuse.
