Grants to expand substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and related recovery and reentry services to sentenced adult offenders/ex-offenders with a SUD and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders, who are returning to their families and community from incarceration.

Cooperative Agreements for Innovative Community Crisis Response Partnerships Inactive
Funding to create or enhance existing mobile crisis response teams to divert adults, children, and youth experiencing mental health crises from law enforcement in high-need communities. A high-need community is one where mobile crisis services are absent or inconsistent, where most mental health crises are responded to by first responders, and/or where first responders are not adequately trained or equipped to diffuse mental health crises. This includes increasing access to licensed/credentialed professionals in rural and remote communities.

Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Inactive
Grant to establish a Center of Excellence to provide training and technical assistance and develop and disseminate culturally informed, evidence-based information to advance the behavioral health equity of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.

Tribal Opioid Response Grants Inactive
Grants to address the opioid crisis in tribal communities by increasing access to medication-assisted treatment and supporting a full range of culturally appropriate prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support services. Funds may also be used to address stimulant misuse and use disorders, including cocaine and methamphetamine.

Grants to integrate evidence-based, culturally competent mental and substance use disorder treatment with HIV primary care and prevention services. The population of focus is individuals of racial and ethnic minorities with a serious mental illness or co-occurring disorder living with or at risk for HIV and/or hepatitis.
