Responding to Opioid Use Disorders in Tribal Communities in the Context of SAMHSA and CDC Funding (R61/R33 - Clinical Trials Optional) Inactive
Funding to support culturally relevant research to improve response to the opioid crisis in tribal communities by using community engaged research approaches to build science around SAMHSA and/or CDC supported programs. The goal is to identify the most effective prevention and/or treatment approaches for opioid use, misuse, and Opioid Use Disorder and related comorbidities in tribal communities, where unique culture, structures for and access to healthcare, and beliefs about treatment all impact health and social outcomes.
