Virginia Healthy Communities Action Teams to Prevent Childhood Obesity Grants Inactive
Grants for organizations, coalitions, and teams in Virginia to develop Healthy Community Action Teams to promote policy, systems, and environmental changes that will help children and adolescents reach and maintain healthy weights. Applications from rural communities are encouraged.

Healthy Tomorrows Partnership for Children Program Inactive
Grants to support community-based child health projects that improve the health of mothers, infants, children, adolescents, and families in rural and other underserved communities by increasing their access to health services.

Promise Neighborhoods Program Inactive
A grant program that supports improvement in the educational and developmental outcomes of children and youth in the most distressed communities. Projects should work to ensure school readiness, high school graduation, and access to a community-based continuum of high quality services.

Healthy Lifestyles in Youth Project Inactive
Funding to a single entity to promote healthy lifestyle development, nutrition, and physical activity for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children and youth ages 7-11. The grantee will provide technical assistance and training to selected Native Boys and Girls Clubs to develop health and wellness programs that include the Together Raising Awareness for Indian Life (TRAIL) curriculum.

Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence Inactive
Funding to a single entity to establish and maintain a Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NHRCDV). The NHRCDV will provide technical assistance and training resources for Native Hawaiian-serving organizations to enhance their capacity to respond to domestic violence, including Native Hawaiian communities and programs in areas that are geographically isolated where community-level involvement is necessary.

Community Economic Development Focus on Energy Communities Inactive
Grants for projects aimed at business development opportunities and creating employment for low-income individuals located in energy communities that have experienced employment loss and/or economic dislocation because of declines in the fossil fuel industry and/or are disproportionately reliant on fossil fuel energy production or distribution. Bonus points are given to projects that create jobs in rural and tribal communities.
