Provides findings from three case studies of frontier communities with seasonal population variations: Skagway, Alaska; Quartzsite, Arizona; and Lake City/Hinsdale County, Colorado. Discusses the experiences of these communities in meeting the health care needs of the permanent local population and seasonal residents and visitors.
