Development and Implementation of a Community Paramedicine Program in Rural United States
Describes a community paramedicine care model developed in a rural Wisconsin Critical Access Hospital (CAH) and Primary Care Clinic. Presents data on 32 patients receiving treatment for chronic disease or other high-need medical condition. Discusses potential for community paramedicine models to decrease high utilization of healthcare services.
