Demographic and Regional Trends in Stroke‐Related Mortality in Young Adults in the United States, 1999 to 2019
Examines mortality rates due to stroke from 1999 to 2019 in young adults aged 25-64. Analyzes 566,916 stroke‐related deaths recorded in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Wide‐Ranging Online Data for Epidemiologic Research (WONDER) database. Includes demographic breakdown of data by sex, race/ethnicity, age, and large metropolitan, medium/small metropolitan, or nonmetropolitan region.
