Analyzes factors promoting and hindering the implementation
of telemedicine infectious diseases consultation (tele-ID
consult) in rural, southeastern Missouri hospitals with
limited on-site availability of infectious disease
physicians. Utilizes data from interviews with 15 hospital
nurses, physicians, and administrators across 3 hospitals.
